PG Strike Rouge

The only word i can describe this PG is "Awesome!!!" the Forth? Fifth PG? in my built list, this is the best among all. Even better then PG OO Raiser and of course, the ultimate PG Strike Freedom. There are so many positive thing comes out from my mind when i build it, paint it and pose it. For those who new to gunpla or gundam world, this is the PG Strike Rouge from Seed and Seed Destiny series. Although the actual mobile suit in the anime does not show out how strong it is be but in the gunpla world, this is "Kamisama". Not going to introduce much about this mobile suit but gonna focus more on the gunpla kit itself. First, lets check out the box, manual and the contents.

Please behave, Bootleg suppoter!!!

Alright, another hateful post? yes it is. 

This time is about "bootleg". If any of you reading this and don't know what it mean by 'bootleg" gunpla, well it mean any gunpla then not made by Bandai but using the same or similar design are consider as "bootleg" (I'm not sure about G-system, but anyone who possess that can be really proud of it). 

My concern is not about the actual physical "bootleg" gunpla itself, not the manufacturer or the re-seller but what really concern about is the one who bought it or the supporters. First of all, what is the reason of purchasing gunpla? we worked on it and then we keep it for display as well as collection. "Collection" which the most important word here. Lets just think about if we want to keep something as collection, will we go for original or the pirate version? Second, where all these original gunpla coming from? Third, what happen if the bootleg gunpla took over the original gunpla market? If you are mature enough, I'm sure you know the answers for 3 questions above. 

I, myself purchase bootleg before too and even now sometime I will ask from my regular supplier to update me but only for few reason that I bought bootleg gunpla.

• P-bandai or Dengeki magazine special item which is extremely rare until can't even get one on hand with extra money
• It is an total re-design with better proportion and articulation kit
• never release in that scale. 
• for spare part or special part only come with bootleg

Other than that, there is no other reason that I will ever purchase bootleg. Yes, sometime it was quite emotional when we see "damn, it P-bandai again, I'm going to wait for chinese version and buy that as protest". But I will still not help to promote bootleg nor i proud of having it. So, its time to start with the bashing part. (not kitbash but is people bashing)

What irritate or annoying me the most (again is from some gunpla facebook group) is some people does't really understand whats gunpla mean for and coming up to post all those bootleg related stuff. 

We start with the stupid one, the most stupid question "should i buy the original Bandai or the Daban version", The most stupid comparison i ever heard. If you not hit the four reasons that i had above you go for the original Bandai even if you can't afford or poor then you don't f**king buy that kit at all and yet still ask and compare, "mohon pencerahan" such a attention seeker.

That was before buying and here comes the after buying part, posting the picture like how proud you just got the Daban MG Sazabi. Gosh, remember about this post, "gunpla is gunpla, gunpla is not", if i'm holding a fake prada, I will hide the logo and use it as a normal bag without letting anybody know that i'm using a fake prada. What so proud of having a bootleg?

I was wondering do you all know the more you support bootleg, it will some how affecting the original Bandai market. Imagine one day that the bootleg market really took over the original market till the original maker is making loss in the business and decided to close down or stop the business or worse still, not import to our country, wonder who will be the one suffer then. Please, use your F**KING brain and think about it. Don't argue on the price of original and bootleg. R&D is definitely expensive then copy. Again, if you can't afford it, you don't belong to here. 

Gunpla is gunpla!!!!! Gunpla is not Prada!!!

With exclamation marks on the title, its seems a bit emotion and it does seems not mean anything much. I think I'm back for writing here again, as two post per-month seems quite a lot compare to previous month (haha). Alright, lets get to the right topic ( the title still relevant). The intro is gonna be brief (i promise). 

Recently I've been joining several group or fanpage in Facebook. All you need is type any gun*** related word and it will appear. Following the flow of the trend seeing people post about gunpla kit, interesting topic and, suddenly the change of the trends seems getting more and more off topic. Here comes the negative part (Yes, I'm going to bash somebody and he/she gonna feel it without mentioning who are them). 

Why "Gunpla is gunpla"? The question was asked because gunpla is not cloth, handbag, accessory or your pants. We use to post a lot of our kits online, whether its uniquely done or just a straight build but the main purpose is to share what we build, the experience of building the kit and what can we improve to make it better. Please, I REPEAT AGAIN, PLEASE!!! Stop asking stupid question like, "I don't know which one to buy, can you pick for me?" WHAT!!! IF YOU CAN'T PICK THE COLOR OF THE SKIRT, I CAN HELP BUT NOT GUNPLA, BITCH!!!!! (yes, i'm insulting those who answer this question." Why? every gunpla kit is unique and if can we as the "real" modeler would like to taste every kit in the market. We know you might have the money to afford it but you know what, "WE DON'T FUCKING CARE WHAT YOU GONNA BUY AND GOT NO TIME TO BUILD AND START SHOWING OFF YOU BACKLOG". Every experience modeler will have backlog, what the big deal that you're having your backlog, sharing for the purpose of "showing off" and keep asking the "erm, which one should i build, pick for me? or vote it". "Vote" WHAT? for the next coming election? asking in the fanpage or to group member to pick what you gonna build next. OH BITCH PLEASE!!! " IF YOU ASKING ME WHAT YOU GONNA WEAR, JUST STAY NAKED AND I'M ENJOY THAT", "WHAT TO BUILD NEXT?" if you are pro-modeler asking this question for your next masterpiece, your question is valid but a pro-modeler build masterpiece based on inspiration and not the "comment or like" from your post like an attention seekers. 

Bought a model kit, telling the whole world you going to starve for that later due to that. Sounds like you have putting a lot of efforts saving money to buy that kit but the next thing you know, you screw up the kit while building it and I'm gonna laugh at you. "Oh dear, you just pour coffee on your new Prada and the stain is gonna be there forever". You get what i mean now. We do enjoy of people announcing their new project (without asking the whole world), work in process post and of course the complete masterpiece. Don't be a dick, this can be a luxury hobby and we are not looking down on you but someone mature will differentiate whats prior first. If you're going to sacrifice your need for this hobby, you shouldn't be in this hobby at all. At the end of the day, we just build the kit, might won some trophy if you are pro enough and enjoy every experience of it. Gunpla bringing you a bowl of rice is rare. Come on guys, you can seek the attention and compliment as a contributor if you going to post something "useful". (well, we don't mind if you are showing us your new loots with a very good rate and remember to share where to get)

Last but not least, backlog photos. You might you just sharing (and mentioning, oh gosh i got no time to build all of it, then why the hell you going to buy that much, idiot) but we all know what is your real intention. Remember, achievement in gunpla means a really great masterpiece but not a storeroom full of gunpla. We don't mind to see how people organize their storage and provide some useful info for other modeler as we face one common problem "space".

I guess that's all for the first part, the next part gonna be more "piss off". Enough of bashing today but I'm, not curse you yet. 

Before ending this post, just for some clarification. Those who I bash here, I don't see their post from Hong Kong, Japan, Europe or Western part of the world. Unfortunately, from South East Asia. Not all of it but we do have "distortion" here.

So, how long was it from the previous post I was wondering. 3 months plus, 4 month to be exact it should be. I'm not dumping this blog or stop writing yet. I do follow lots of gundam page in facebook, gundam news from various site and of course, the latest gundam series. As we grow older, many things happen. It affect us financially and...... emotionally. We do have more money for more kits now but the time to build our back log seems getting faster than the time we build the kit. Although I'm still siting on the same place writing the same blog but everything around is changing. I guess, that's life.

Recently read an emotional post from Waylander, write about his gunpla life and the story evolve around it. Some other people might just felt " it just a hobby, how could it affect our real life". In fact, I was having the same thought when i read the title till i read the content and it feel totally different. I put a comment there " I know how it feel, bro". Did I? Forget about it. But seriously, is that real? Very true story.

I went through that as well although I didn't post much about it in here. Reason? emotionally affected the mood of working or enjoying this hobby. It can't be said, when we're young we know less about the real world which we can focus more on our day dream hobby which is fun but when times goes by where we facing more and more cruel truth in the real world, everything seems scattered.

My first hard time was building an PG OO raiser, my first PG kit. I was devastated and the worse part is, I was at the sanding process which is the most boring process. The good thing is, to neutralize all this bad feeling I numb myself to keep on chasing to complete the process. The kit end up quite good and I was healing close to completion.

The second hard time was worse and yet, it was another PG, one of the most challenging PG I ever build which is the PG Strike Freedom. It fall on the same process again and I did the same thing. The project was complete and delivered but for me, not heal nor solve and still stuck in the same problem again. Until now, what was the problem I face in my hard time? Well, for a male there will always two things in chinese, either money or the other " you know what i mean". I was not in the relationship at all actually, a loser start in a lose match and keep on losing. It might nothing much to loose or maybe it just an good opportunity but emotion, Bang!!! that was hurt.

And now, I'm building an PG Strike rough and guess what? I think i'm into the third time of this situation. With previous experience, it still affect me but it can be handle. It was another problem.
Damn it, sanding process again.

I was wondering will the sad or bad feelings produce a good kit? Honestly, I don't know but I think if I'm going to customize a kit with pla-plate or kit bash will definitely an disaster. Stick with a clean build with basic painting should be the best I guess. So, wondering whether I'm still here? This site is still alive and I'm assure that. Good life or bad life, as long as we can afford time and money, gunpla for life.

Gunpla Mid Year Challenge 2015 Malaysia at Main City Mall

As usual, I'm late again. Almost two weeks the event over and i'm only able to write this post now.

So, this year it held in a completely new place. Guess they are taking the advantage helping some of the mall to create some activity and bring more crowd. The venue was in main place city mall, somewhere in between Puchong, Shah Alam or Subang. Public transport to here seems difficult and feel sorry for those who are not local. Frankly speaking, I still feel IPC was the best place in terms of space, crowd and location but no matter where it held, it not going to stop modeller to participate and visit for this great show. 

The display was updated as from last time, means better lighting and space. I was quite lucky to visit there on the first day as i was able to take photo of some entries before they have the glass on. In terms of activity, it will be the usual Q&A contest, speed building and the organizer will offer some freebies. Professional builders demonstration was there as well ( Don't afraid to ask them for guidance as they really quite friendly to share unless it really some stupid question that waste not just theirs time but other who want to ask). 

PG Strike Freedom

 Not the first, not the second and this is the third perfect grade. And its painted. I must be crazy when i paint my first PG and i'm still painting them, no straight build and yes, this was pretty bad. Since last year, i've been practicing the basics. The result does payoff from the previous 2 MG which are the MG Blitz and MG Mk2 Ver.2 but when things getting bigger and complicated especially trying with some new paint, lot of thing can be happen.

As praised (for the kit) and hated by many people (for the "holy jesus yamato" as what they mentioned), i guess there is no need to introduce this kit. Let just start with my own version of review or, it just my opinion about this kit.

When it release, i'm sure i'm not the only one who get overexcited but as usual, disappointment does found from "Perfect" grade due to its size, complication of the structure and weight. Bandai does improve a lot since PG OO raiser with the "locking" joint thing but the tremendous weight of a PG kit really unavoidable. From me to Bandai "if you know carbon fibre in LFA, please make something similar to PG kit which should light but tough". Metal doesn't solve the problem as the joint won't sustain the weight for long term. This is my favorite MS and come in "Perfect Grade" but i'm not sure why i complain so much. Anyway, i got another one. Guess i need to be careful on the second build.

When we talk about details, articulations and proportions of this kit, lets start with detail. Another complain that I heard a lot about the details of this kit especially on its "plain" armor. Compare to PG Astray or OO raiser, yes that this kit looks a bit plain but this "plain" thing doesn't apply to the inner frame and this i'm going to start with the articulations. As the current PG kit, mostly or can be said all using socket joint except the neck joint but again, the weight kill everything. No lock for the joint like in PG OO raiser. As for the proportion, so far everything is good but it can be improve such as increase the length of the neck and torso. Other are just great.

Gimmick, the wings, LED light for the head unit and the bling bling inner frame. Start with the wings, it looks great in the box, manual and even the complete unit from others right. One press at the dragoon and it will slide out, sound wonderful. Lets look at the "dark side", super back heavy, fragile main joint for the wing to the backpack (Back thruster), super annoying auto pop-slide dragoon unit and lastly, super complicated structure that only provided minimal expansion lock. LED unit, i ignore it. Bling Bling inner frame, the MG version have create the expectation. The entire inner frame doesn't come with shiny gold which can be said good to those who will paint it cause cutting the gold plate part out without sanding the nub marks is really paint in ass.

Its seem lots of frustration from me to this kit. Alright, lets enjoy the picture and i'll be back with positive comments. Ah, before that you may have a look on the paint list:

Some painting feedback, remember to coat the gold color because i'm not sure why there is some rusty effect came out pretty badly.

Other application include panel line and stickers, there is no dry transfer decal for this kit.        

GBWC Malaysia at IPC 2014

Yeah yeah yeah, its late but better not posting. Most of you might have saw these picture and even the world Championship has been announce but I'm still going to post here.

I guess this is the second time that the organizer held the GBWC in Ikano Power Centre. From the previous post (which I can't find it back), I do mentioned this venue is a lot more better than the one in Sungei Wang Plaza which is smaller. With larger space, more display can be show by the organizer especially those special effect in the dark room, diorama, table for gunpla assembly area and even the mighty "size" Neo Zeong is here. Display and set up everything here was way better in Sungei Wang (where it mix with some other Parkson shoe promotion and shrink up the entire event's venue).

We might find not much great deal this time as it focus more on limited item. MG and PG seems not coming with great price and mostly are 1/144 kit either in HG or RG but the MG Strike ver.RM and MG Strike Ootori do come with great deal as it only cost at about RM 13+.

Number of entry seems not as much as previous few round if i'm not wrong but number of quality entries do increase a lot (I'm not a judge and have no intention to judge what are the bad or good entries as my skill is still limited but if you a gunpla modeler, you can tell). I guess i'm going to take a break here a while and let the picture speak the rest.......

MG Mk II A.E.U.G (second unit)

Hate it or love it.

That is how I can describe my gunpla building time now. Either make it quick but the result will not as good as expected or be patience, take some time and make it close to imagination. As for this post, I really hate myself for hanging too long as I actually had everything completed with the photos few months ago and I really don't have the mode to write anything. I forgot what I work on this kit. Damn!!!

Alright, the second unit.

The main different from the first unit I have before can be said the painting. No pla-plate or additional panel line added for both unit but the first unit is the semi-painting unit which means only certain parts are paint such as the inner frame, main body and other part that not in white color. At the end, i sold it for half price. As for this second unit, fully paint with removing all nub marks (that's the part the killing most of my time). As usual, the paint list:

MG Blitz Gundam Custom

Screw me up, I can't remember how many month I took to complete this kit. All I remember i build it, keep it back in the box before sanding it, build the PG Wing and paint it, built couple of HG kit and keep back in box, until really I can't stand to see the box of this kit lying on my table for too long and finally, I decide to took it out, sand it properly before painting and "vowla!!!", here we have it complete.

One of the Seed Gat-X series mobile suit that really impressed me. It got shield, mount with beam rifle, beam saber and some sort of missile equals to deadly. I guess GN Sword one concept was from this because this come FIRST!!! (for Seed haters) Just kidding and no offend for that. But when it lost it right arms, that's too bad. As for the hook on the left hand, I still don't have any idea why they need a "hook" weapon mount on the high tech mobile suit in that era where they can just aim and shoot "target lock down and eliminated", as simple as that. Why not the left arms have the same weapon as the right arms I was wondering. Mirage colloid, damn this is the coolest technology that I think every mobile suit should have it but I guess if everyone fighting using this technology in the show, we might just watching a beam effect show "Lol". The design of this kit was awesome actually, it balance up everything from the chest, arms, legs, backpack, and even the head unit. It will be a base foundation for any modification especially the back pack but the original one was just too nice to be sacrifice and the design just close any possibilities for backpack modification without sacrificing it.

21st century MG kit, no worry about the technology or design on this MG kit. Articulation, best but no perfect as there are still some plate armor blocking the movement. Design wise, no heavy backpack but the right arms seems a bit heavy which might cause slight imbalance on the kit but don't worry, slightly tighter some joints and it will stand and pose well. As usual, I can said no masking is require since all parts with difference colors are molded separately. As for the detail, nothing to worry on the inner part and as for the outer part you may add on some spices to make it more nasty. I like the way of some of the sliding armor that expose the inner frame which it use as the release of mirage colloid mode. As for the customization, that leave to your own imagination and now I will let the picture speak for the rest of the story.

Gunpla Mid Year Challenge 2014 Malaysia at Sungei Wang Plaza

Well well well, its good to be back here, Jarvis (alright, just stop all the Ironman 2 dialog nonsense).

Again, its been a while that i'm not here. Its feel quite lazy to update things since I change my job but life still goes on and gunpla life will never stop. I'm still following up with most of the gunpla news but nowadays include transformer and other mecha as well. Guess that what make me slightly busier than before. So lets start with the Gunpla Mid Year Challenge 2014 Malaysia at Sungei Wang plaza. My apology for the missing competition post from last year which held in Ikea PowerCentre and I will update it soon cause there are some related detail to this post.

For this year, things have become more interesting as there are a lot of improvement compare to last few years, I mean the event and not just entries. I came in here second day of the event, there might be more entries putting here later but it might not because there is another similar event held in Johor Bahru which is too far for me to cover. As what we can see here, one of the improvement that i feel its the best will be the display shelf. We can see more poster decoration, better lighting and design which make us easier to take photo especially the dark background really helps a lot. There are some activity such as one of the activity which i participate and won the HGUC unicorn with display head on the first round. What we need to do in the activity is building the AG Genoace and the fastest one who complete will win the prize i mentioned. Other activity include Kinrara cosplay? er, i miss this part. As you scroll down from this post, you might found there is one counter where some are the judges and might be other pro-modeller building kit as the live showcase for building gunpla. And as usual, we able to meet one of our previous international Bakuc Champion which is Eric over there. I'm not sure are we allow to ask some question to them but they do answer us quite friendly on how to create certain effect, diorama and other skill which is great.

One of the major difference in between mid year challenge and year end challenge will be the number of entries. As you can see from the photo or even in the event itself, there are lesser entries during the mid year and most of the big gun will normally target on the big show in the year end but still, there are lot of great work in mid year challenge. I capture most of the amazing work and i skipped those that try hard but not that succeed in this post. I'm sorry to said that and not mean to bash anyone. It just if we going to create something, why not we just have all the best, like what i'm going to show in this post. So, as for now, enjoy the picture and you may give your feedback if you want to.

PG Wing Zero Custom

Wow, almost 8 months i'm not updating anything here except from the fb page. So, what I did for the past 8 months? This? nope. There are more than this actually but this is the only one project where i paint. I'm not going to post like the usual post i did previously such as the background story of this model kit, personal opinion or review but just photos.

About the paint i use for this kit, maybe will update here later. So, as for now, let the pictures tell the rest.

HG Ginn Type Insurgent Custom

Second post of the month. I guess things go according to plan which i only post this photo after i put it in the show and as usual, back with empty hand. I should went there earlier to get some feedback although i know what's wrong with the project.

So, here is it, the HG Ginn Type Insurgent "with my custom paint job". I have the normal HG Ginn Miguel used but it've been spoil when i try to paint it with cheap can spray while the parts still attach with the runners. Since this HG Ginn Type Insurgent is still in OOB form, it will be more easy for me to paint it.

The color scheme will be as usual but more majority parts painted in blue color. The paint use for this kit? Here is the list:

-Gray                    -      Mr.Hobby Metallic Black, Mr. Hobby White

No customization for the joint or proportion improvement, it's just a painted kit.

Since this kit design looks quite bulkier type, i actually plan the color scheme to make it look more armor-ish like what i did on the chest and the parts that painted in white color but it still can't "emphasize" much.

As a HG kit from Seed with 200X design, we can't expect much on its joint but it still can make some "good" pose. Proportion wise, normal and nothing much need to be done unless you want it look sharper.

Malaysia Gundam Mid Year Challenge 2013

I guess i should call this post of the month since i only create one post per-month. Alright, the wait is over but i guess its not excited than the warehouse sales which start today. These picture was taken on Monday, there might be more entry coming within this week. So, this is it "The Malaysia Gundam Mid Year Challenge 2013". I guess the BAKUC should be held on end of the year but if i'm not remember wrong, it no longer called as "BAKUC". Well, we can't expect much on the Malaysia Gundam Mid Year Challenge as most of the big player is actually focus more on the Year End contest. This round is slightly better because last few rounds was held in MIECC which is under a book fair. Well, the Malaysia Gundam Mid Year Challenge is finally back to Sungei Wang. As for the rules and prizes, it will be similar every year with some minor changes. As what i know, there is a HG category which i had participated without realizing there is such category. So, let the pictures explain the rest of the story now......

MG Exia Ignition Mode

First i gotta start off the post with some of my personal life updates. Yeah yeah yeah, life is getting more busier after change of job especially the role of the job. From buying to selling, it use to 80% planning, 20% monitoring but now is 30% planning and 70% implementing. Its really suck up lot of time and energy in selling role as there might be no reference or there isn't an always confirm right reference. Turning on the mood back to hobby is rather more difficult than starting an 30 years old engine (maybe i should use another example). While it hard to get in hobby mood, it even more difficult get into blogging mode but i'm still not giving up yet. So, back to business here. What am i going to show here, something that i show before but this time will be in... another way.

Previously i was building the MG OO seven sword, i guess i continue with this one might be suitable for the flow (what kind of flow? i don't know). I watch the entire OO series from first season to second season as well as the movie except the side story. I guess i can describe anything from this MS. The first thing that i want talk about, instead of weapon, it power core or concept, this thing come with lots of variation, till its expansion and upgrade version. It got the original Exia, Avalanche Exia, Exia Type- (many type), Astrea, Exia R1, R2 and R3?. It just come with lot of variation not counting the upgrade version which is the double O gundam that using its concept. Even OO Quanta is base on this. I guess this it just won the best base model of variation in OO series. Maybe the platform of its design really have a lot of potential. So, the concept of this MS was made for melee combat with a lot of melee weapon and the weapons also create to penetrate different types of armors as shown in the season 1. What i like most about its weapon is not those two stupid GN blades ( GN Sword 1 still remain as my favorite) but is the way it design to store those beam saber. Storing the beam saber at the back of the shoulders really something "unimaginable" yet it's actually quit efficient and effective. A melee combat MS that come with super fast attack move from the Trans Arms system (berserk), not an bad idea. I think i should stop talking about the kit here as i really got a lot of opinion about this kit (both positive and negative).

I actually made a "simple" review about this kit before and i totally forget about until i search for some old action pose photo of this kit. I was thinking maybe i can skip this post but from what wrote on the previous post was, i feel i miss something.

So, start with the assemble process for this kit, straightforward. Connecting the arms and shoulders to the main body were a bit difficult due to the GN Condenser that attach at the side of shoulders  and arms. The structure or design of the kit is simple too, no heavy back pack or heavy weapon to carry. Although the design might simple but it still pack with lot of detail and/or panel like that make it look not too plain. It might not come with sliding armors but the transparent GN Condenser can expose some of the sliding part in the inner frame. Color separation is great as most of the individual parts only come for one color.

In terms of the proportion and articulation, this great have it all. Articulation is great in this kit because it can be said no obstruction for different movement (especially the waste). As for the proportion wise, at first i thought everything look too square-ish but after the completion of the assemble process (for the first time), its totally different. The shoulder seems shorter, main body bulkier, bigger tights, and bigger head unit compare to NG 1/100. As compare to the current Metal Build version, i will give at least 80 point for the proportion.

MG OO Seven sword review

Since i have review MG OO Raiser, I'm going to focus more on its weapon in this review. For the review of the main body, maybe you can refer to this link here.

About the box or the boxart, i decided to drop it from this post because.. i'm totally forgot to take picture about it. So....... just leave it.

OO seven sword, i don't have much information about it. I heard it was design and featured in some of the OO manga (don't know which series). When we talk about seven sword, it always remind me Cloud from Final Fantasy advent children and the other chinese movie also called as seven sword. Exia, upgrade to seven sword and now we have OO seven sword. It seems like whenever anything related about "seven sword", it must be cool especially it include something huge. The problem of the concept is, will a soldier in the old time will carry seven sword to fight its enemy, it will be very heavy isn't it. In that OO series era, they got GN Beam sword, rifle and some megalauncher cannon and the GN blade or GN Sword 2 are enough to cut through different types of armors as well as hold any slash from the beam saber and OO gundam will always have one pair of it. Why do it need seven melee weapon in the mobile suit? Well, those weapon that come with it are cool individually but when all put into one mobile suit, it will become not logic. Too bad, due to it come with a big GN sword, i will still get one of this for myself.

Lets discuss more about the actual kit. What is the main different in between MG OO raiser and MG OO seven sword. Except the weapon, there is some changes on the leg which allow it to attach the GN Qatar on it (Qatar?, what's that for). As for other on the main body will remain same.

The weapon that included in this MS were GN "huge" sword (which is a favorite from most collectors), Two GN Sword 2 which one side is longer than normal and another one is shorter, GN Sword 2 Blaster, 2 x transformable Qatar shield and two beam saber .With all these weapon come with it, this thing really can create a lot of "slashing" pose but it will work when only certain weapon attached on it due to the weigh of some weapon. It can handle most of this weapon well in the post except the "huge" GN sword. From my experience from MG Astray model, it better to forget about handling all these huge sword because it really trouble some.

About the articulation, the original kit itself is great and these extra weapon come with it doesn't cause much trouble except the weigh issue on the GN drive when it attach with the huge GN Sword.

As for the detail for each weapon, it can still be improve with more pla-plate or panel line. Other than that, that's all for the kit.... LOL.. lets check out the photo

MG Force Impulse Review

Another kit from Seed Destiny again. I always like to review kit from this series as it is my favorite series which i'm more familiar with compare to UC, Wings or others. Previously i have review the MG Sword Impulse version which have most of the parts same with this except the silhouette parts.

Since i have review the Sword Impulse, in this post i will more focus on the Force silhouette pack but it gonna be short. So, the force silhouette pack that form Force Impulse, as what we know this pack is serve the same function as the Aile Striker from Strike. Compare to Aile Strike, the force silhouette is more smaller which didn't come with two large thruster at the back. The design is more sleek and sharp compare to Aile Striker pack. Come with two beam saber which make the Force Impulse still able to fight for medium and close combat. The wing is foldable which doesn't require much space to store it. The detail of this Force Silhouette is pretty great too. Compare to other Silhouette such as the Blast and Sword Silhouette, those are more focus on the weapon that it can carry but as for this, it greatly improve the overall performance of the MS. Therefore, what we can see it's more focus on the individual silhouette unit compare to the weapon it can carry (only two beam sabers)


The actual kit here is actually quite accurate for this Force Silhouette pack compare to the anime. On top of that, it come with one of the sword from Sword Silhouette ( but its slightly different) to form some of the "Excalibur" scene.

 

Big New Toy (Canon EOS 7D with EF-S 18-135mm IS)

So, finally the new tools is here. Its not completely own by me as it is consider as it actually belong to my so called "company". We are doing some freelance job and we do need some good camera to make it work (in Malaysia, they classified professional photographer by the camera model, LOL, so i can consider myself as semi-pro now, hohoho). Well some people said, if you're not pro you don't need a big professional camera. In fact, lower end camera need more skill to take a good photo. Higher end model simplified the skill as the performance is a lot more better. It just like dragging a big horse power car with a normal sedan, all you need to do is switch the gear accordingly in a super car while the normal sedan require lot of skill to catch up. Mobile Suit Gundam Arein : The Awakening of the Earth

For the part two of Mobile suit Gundam Arein, its actually doesn't related much to the Gundam Arein itself. The series was call "Mobile Suit Gundam Arein : The Awakening of the Earth". It will be a single episode and from this episode, the ending of the first series will be review here.

At the end of the Mobile Suit Gundam Arein, VF main base was being attack and damaged heavily. Eneuf take the entire VF and its new developed weapon of destruction called "Mirror" to take down WU. With the limited number in VF, it strike directly to the heart of WU in the center colony of The Ark and break down the entire WU defense system. Leon and WU forces retreat into Second colony of The Ark. RS take this opportunity while both WU and VF was exhausted in the war. RS try to attack and destroy the remaining of WU forces but VF knew it and try to protect the WU remaining forces as he know Leon is there. Due to the forces of RS was too huge, Eneuf lure the main forces of RS to Mirror which make the RS forces stay linear back to its RS space Headquarter. During this operation, Leon MS was damaged and save by Arein but both stuck at the Mirror's target as the RS keep on pursue them. In order to save his friend while make sure the RS main forces stay linear with it headquarter, Eneuf push Leon MS away just before the Mirror fire. The entire of RS main forces was destroy together with its space headquarter near Earth. At the end, all three forces which are the RS, WU and VF was suffered heavily in this war and finally call the end. These three nation then signed a new agreement to stay peaceful in the space near Earth. Leon survive as the representative of WU while Leana became the representative of VF with Eneuf's son call Rident. These three nation were declared as the Space Alliance (SA) as they are no longer able to go back Earth due to the radiation.

The story of this episode start when the refugee of the WU in Earth who was left behind by the RS starting to attack the space colony from SA near Earth. These people called themselves the Origin (of the WU or Earth). They have suffer a lot from the Earth radiation. With the scrap from the WU and RS left on Earth, they build themselves a very strong forces on Earth and begin to assault and capture the space colony near Earth. Leon piloting its prototype Gundam from his friend (Eneuf) which called the "Vanator" lead the old forces from VF to stop this madness. Vanator was a project develop in WU by Leon and Eneuf before Eneuf knew his real identity. With the technology from the VF, Vanator are quite similar to the Arein but performance was slightly lower.

Although the SA technologies was far more advance but they never thought the Origin forces was not small too. This series will be the beginning of the true battle in between nation from Earth and nation from Space Colony. The leader of the Origin was only review on the next Episode ( The Legacy Return) while this episode is focus more on the rising Origin and the main focus character will be Leon.
